Your safety matters to us
On the 14th Street Lexington line stop, a male voice was heard telling people to stay away from the end of the platform. "Your safety matters to us," the message ended.

Then, a female voice gave another announcement. "Your safety matters to us," was the end of this message, also.

Us? Who are you people? Why do you care? Do I know both of you?

It's a little creepy. Is the MTA placing bets that you'll make it out of 14th Street alive?

Subways
Even worse are the "your safety matters to us. Please hold handrails while using escalators." I hear that at 2nd Ave. all the time ...
