The World Health Organization (WHO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations concerned with public health. Some critics during the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic claimed that WHO worked for China and covered up the outbreak in Wuhan, leading to the nickname “Wuhan Health Organization.”
