“Co-Vid would be a much better name for Zoom”

COVID-19 (coronavirus) was declared a pandemic in March 2020, and many businesses and schools switched to remote meetings using Zoom.
     
“Time for #zoom to change their name to Co-Vid?” was posted on Twitter by Holly Wright on March 27, 2020.  “Come to think of it, ‘Co-Vid’ would be quite a good name for one of those Skype/Zoom-style online meetings apps that are suddenly all the rage” was posted on Twitter by David Mitchell on April 3, 2020.
